Field Philosophy

Capturing the stillness of earth's extreme edges.

I document the raw, unyielding beauty of sub-polar landscapes. My work focuses on the intersection of light, geology, and the quiet solitude of the wilderness.

From the glacial basins of Iceland to the jagged peaks of Patagonia, I seek out environments where the human footprint is minimal. My process is slow and deliberate, relying on medium-format equipment to capture the subtle tonal shifts of the golden hour.

Each photograph is an archival study of atmospheric conditions. I aim to translate the immense scale of these regions into intimate, museum-grade prints that invite quiet contemplation of our natural world.
